Come visit the College & Career Center!
Bailey Alvarez (College & Career Technician) is in Room 3 every Thursday 7:30-4:00 providing assistance with college & career exploration, senior projects, resume building, and financial aid.  She is scheduling field trips and workshops.  Check out her bulletin board in the Library with special topics including, Employment, College, Events, Community Service, CTE Opportunities, & Apprenticeships.


Pathways to Success Workshops 
FREE program that provides students and parents/guardians with the knowledge, support, and toolkit to take the next step after high school. Meetings will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM rotating among the alternative ed. sites starting in November at Rio Cazadero.  It is open to all our families and light refreshments will be provided.

FEBRUARY 11: Resumes, Interviewing, and Free Money @ Las Flores High School

California College Guidance Initiative

EGUSD offers 
www.CaliforniaColleges.edu to families with students in 7th – 12th grades. It’s an online program designed to help your child plan and prepare early for college and/or their future career – no matter how many years or how few years of post-secondary training desired. Review the attached flyer on how your student can sign in with their EGUSD student I.D. and email. Families can also sign in to view and monitor your student’s progress on the platform and learn valuable information to support your child through career exploration, college and financial aid planning and application processes.

Feria de Educación is designed to empower Spanish-speaking parents and students with information and resources to help them succeed in California's educational system. The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the University Union Ballroom on the Sacramento State campus (6000 J St., Sacramento).
